Art Deco Polo Series

Equestrian Sporting Art with Timeless Elegance

Streamline Modern’s Polo Series celebrates the dynamic grace of equestrian sport through 1920s and 1930s Art Deco design. This curated collection and custom commission collection features vintage-inspired posters, bronze and aluminum relief panels of horses and riders, and decorative sculptures. Our artwork captures the energy and sophistication of polo’s golden age. Ideal for country clubs, private collections, and luxury interiors, each piece embodies the era’s streamlined forms and athletic flair.

Our artworks depict stylized horses in motion, geometric mallet and ball motifs, and abstract equestrian scenes inspired by period tournament posters and sporting estates. Formats range from museum-quality giclees and custom wall installations to dimensional relief panels crafted for elegant clubhouses, home libraries, and trophy rooms.

Art Deco Heritage & Contemporary Polo Commissions

The Art Deco Polo Series includes both historically grounded works and original contemporary compositions. Select pieces are based on authenticated 1930s polo designs by Waylande Gregory, one of the most significant American Art Deco sculptors, whose dynamic ceramic reliefs and sporting imagery were created for prominent estates, clubs, and public spaces. Adapted from Gregory’s documented plate designs, these works are available as archival giclees, dimensional relief panels, lighting elements, and custom architectural features that honor the original Art Deco vocabulary.

Complementing these historic adaptations, Streamline Modern also produces original polo compositions designed specifically for modern interiors. These works feature stylized horses and riders in motion, geometric mallet and ball motifs, and abstract interpretations of equestrian sport, scaled to suit private clubs, luxury residences, and bespoke installations. From faithful period-inspired designs to contemporary interpretations, each piece reflects the elegance, athleticism, and streamlined sophistication that made polo a defining subject of the Art Deco era.
